To begin with, according to her statement, this incident took place when she was seventeen years. The question is, why did she keep silent over the issue since then? Did she just grew up or discovered the use of her voice? was she a teenager till last month or was she waiting for an appointed time to divulge it?
Moreover, she got married in 2012; the major inquiry every right thinking suitor makes in a relationship is to find out whether the intending spouse had any childhood trauma or abuse. Did she discussed this with Timi then or she is just telling him now? If she told him then why didn’t he take it up for her then? Why now? And if she is just telling him now, why hiding such a gruesome, emotion wrecking issue from him till after three children?
Another major thing that makes me disbelieve this story is the fact that a married man would leave his matrimonial bed very early in the morning just to go and rape a teenager. Let’s consider the fact that he was not aware of how many people may be in the house, what electronic gadget may be there or who was going to open door for him to entre. Then some just opened the door and he immediately grabbed him and started raping her. To me, anyone who would take such a risk must be in possession of a gun and would be ready to shoot who ever may stumble upon them there; owing to the fact that it was a family home. To further make the whole issue incredible, after such a cruel act the person went and brought soft drinks for both of you to take.
At this point let’s take a look at what rape is all about. The term Rape, according to Wikipedia, is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration carried out against a person without that person’s consent. The act may be carried out by physical force, coercion, abuse of authority, or against a person who is incapable of giving valid consent, such as one who is unconscious, incapacitated, has an intellectual disability or is below the legal age of consent. The term rape is sometimes used interchangeably with the term “sexual assault”
The account of the second rape incident is as implausible as the first one. Let’s take a logical look at the story she told. To me, no pastor will risk raping someone in an open place, no matter how secluded the place may be. This is a public figure we are talking about; not a tout or cultist. Was he so insane to think that nobody can overhear them or record them in this age of social media?
In summary, the whole story looks fictitious to me
